It’s very easy to become disoriented with online advertising, with everyone and there brother telling you that this thing or that thing is the right way to earn. Unfortunately, you don’t know where to do to start, or even what to do to get better results?

Been in internet marketing for 6 months: Did you even start to build your email list? How is your auto responder setup? How many products do you have or promote?

Advanced: Is your list responsive or is nobody buying from your list? What is your SERP? How much money do you get back for every $100 spent on advertising? What money are you making each month?

Now there are many other things that could go on this list, but has it got you thinking?

To improve on these things you need to look at how well you are executing the basics Do you think you are allotting enough time everyday to the important parts of your internet business. And how much wasted time do you lose trying the next big thing like you just read in the email you got.

FYI, all those new programs are relying on the fact that you already have all the basics in order, that is why the program work for some people.

So if things are not exactly where you would like them to be then you need to decide exactly in detail what you want to do about it and set aside some time to do it.

So how do you prioritize your time? Start a journal of what you need to do and stick to it. This is not the coolest thing in the world to do but this is a great way to make sure your doing what you need to do, and this has worked for people for the last 2,000 years.

As easy as this sounds, you would be surprised at how many people just wont do it, and it can mean the difference between success and failure.

You need to set time aside everyday to improve on something that needs improvement, this could be as simple as taking a look at your website and figuring out how best to do some search engine optimization on it to help boost your rank in the search engine results.

Have you website really leave an impression on your visitors, submit some more articles to the article directories, join and be active in forums and blogs that directly relate to your products.

If you put these basic tips into effect you will begin to turn a profit. Once you are making money with the basics, you can then start adding new forms of advertising and stick with the ones that work. Now when adding new ways and new techniques for advertising, make sure that it is something you are willing to do everyday without it irritating you.

Create goals in your journal or diary and figure out what will help you achieve these goals, once this is done you can concentrate on improving and growing your own online business, instead of reading more email’s that promise you that you will get rich when you buy there program.

These steps may seem very boring and irritating at first but once you start making money using these simple steps you will begin to find this work enjoyable and this will carry you on to the next level of internet marketing.
