Email marketing is one of the best ways to get traffic to your website or affiliate link. However many people don’t use email marketing. Instead they try every other way to drive traffic to there sites. Spend thousands of dollars buying visitors and using programs that “guarantee” to drive traffic, but in the end all they get is an empty bank account and they soon give up with there online business ventures.

The reason most people don’t use email marketing is that they don’t have the information they need to set it all up and to start building a list. Here is a list of things you need to start building your own list.

One of the first things you will need is an auto responder, this is a program that will automatically add people to your list and will allow you to automatically send pre-set emails to everyone who signs up.

Secondly you need a product that you can give away in order to get people to sign up for your list. (give away free products and people will sign up)

Now you will need a web hosting service, for your sign up page and you will need to give them something for signing up. After they sign up you just send them an email from your auto-responder telling them where they can download there product.

And finally, It is now time to start sending traffic to your new sign up page, so you can start building your list.

Now for those of you who would like to start email marketing without having to get a auto responder or domain name and hosting, I have a few suggestions for you as well.

There is a program called MyHugeList.com this is a different type of list building, everything is done on there servers. The way this program works is you sign up into there system for free and they give you a referral link, you send people to that referral link and everyone who signs up gets placed in your list.

One of the best things about this list building program is that, for everyone you refer in to your list, will get there own link so they can start building there own list, and you get to email everyone they refer and so on, for 10 levels deep.

The great thing is that if you get only 3 people to join your list, those 3 people will help you build your list, and on and on for 10 levels. You can have a list of over 250,000 members in no time. And to make this program even better you will not receive thousands of emails a day. You will only receive 2 to 3 emails a day, but never more than 10 emails every 2 days… ever.

Now there are also programs called safelists, these are programs you can join for a small fee and start emailing people immediately, while you don’t get the same response using safelists as you do using your own email marketing list, you can still get enough traffic to start making sales almost immediately.

One of the best safelists online today is, MoneyListPro and you will need two different email addresses for this program, I suggest gmail. This is the best way to start emailing people today about your offers.

And the last thing I would like to share with you is the importance of being able to write emails that will actually get people to open them. First do not use the bait and switch, meaning that in the subject line you write something like:
“Your account has been canceled”
and then when they open your email you are trying to sell them a e book on dog training, this is considered spam. And Can get you in a lot of trouble.
